Richard Rapp, President

Rich launched Altamira in 2002 as a response to the changes and challenges he saw taking place in the industry.

Rich has worked with clients of every size and type, including global giants, consumer products marketers and business-to-business brands. His agency experience includes Grey Advertising, Cunningham & Walsh, NW Ayer and The Lord Group. Client assignments range from advertising, brand strategy, new product development and brand naming to corporate communications, design and promotional programs. Rich was also a co-founder and Managing Partner at Sterling Brands, the NY-based consultancy specializing in brand strategy and brand design.

Throughout his career, the one constant has always been Rich’s love of problem solving using communications and creativity to grow client businesses. Rich considers himself fortunate to have worked with so many amazing clients, including Procter & Gamble, Joseph E. Seagram & Sons, Kraft Foods, MBIA, Miller Brewing, Oxford Healthplans, Milliman, Ricoh Corporation and Tropicana Beverages, Bigelow Tea and AmeriHealth New Jersey.

Rich is a graduate of Penn State University and currently serves as President of Penn State's Bellisario College of Communications Advertising & Public Relations Alumni Network Board. He also serves on the Executive Board of the Fairfield County Chapter of the American Marketing Association, following his term as Chapter President.

Patti Manzone, Creative Director

Typography may someday be a lost art, but not if Patti can help it. Her eye and affinity for type is evident on the book covers she has created for Madonna, Cher, Janet Evanovich, Keith Richards and Patricia Cornwell. As founding partner of Design Monsters, she helped create promotional packaging for Luther Vandross, John Mellencamp and Starbucks Coffee. Most recently, she has developed promotional and marketing campaigns for Snapple Beverage, The Wineries of St. Francis, Louis Jadot, AlizÈ Cognac and Chocolate Moose.

Patti is a graduate of The Cooper Union in New York City.
